Lisbon, Portugal (May 2024)

I’m Markus Indeck, a mechanical engineering student at Northeastern University, set to graduate in 2026. I’ve always been fascinated by how things work, whether it’s a complex machine or the dynamics of a team on the rugby field. As an eBoard member of Northeastern’s club rugby team, I balance leadership, teamwork, and the thrill of the game, all while keeping my studies in motion.

Outside of academics, you’ll often find me exploring my hobbies: cars, watches, and photography. I have a passion for travel and love capturing the stories of new places through my lens. These interests fuel my creativity and curiosity, both of which I bring into my professional life.

Professionally, I’ve had the opportunity to grow through my co-op experiences, including a role at E Ink as a Product Development Engineering Co-op. These experiences have sharpened my problem-solving skills and given me hands-on exposure to innovation in engineering and business.

Looking ahead, I’m eager to take on challenging projects that blend creativity and technical expertise. Long-term, I see myself working in the automotive industry or at a start-up, where I can design and develop technologies that push boundaries.
